Shop Terms and Conditions, 2021-2022

Ordering
 

All orders for Goods shall be deemed to be an offer by the Buyer to purchase Goods pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by the Seller. The Seller may choose not to accept an order for any reason.

 

Making a purchase order could not be easier. Just browse our products and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them in to your shopping basket provided in our on-line Shop.

You can order goods and pay for them using your credit/debit card or via Paypal. We accept most major debit and credit cards, we no longer accept cheques. You do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase as on their site you can pay directly using your own credit or debit card.

All goods and services supplied by us must be paid for in Pounds Sterling.
We cannot accept payment in currencies other than British Pounds Sterling.
If you live outside of the UK and pay by credit/debit card, we will take the cost of goods ordered (plus shipping if applicable) in British Pounds Sterling. Your own credit/debit card company will convert this to your local currency at their own exchange rate.
 

How to successfully place your order

1.         Add products, review your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.

2.         Enter your shipping address and ensure you add a mobile phone number so   you receive automated shipment updates.

3.         Choose your payment method and agree to our T&C's

4.         Your order has now been successfully placed. You'll receive an email confirmation from us at info@shelleyosman.com (please make sure you check your spam box).

Price and Payment

​

The price of the Goods shall be that stipulated on the Website. The price excludes delivery charges. The total purchase price and delivery charges, if any, will be displayed in the Buyers shopping cart prior to confirming the order. Payment of the goods and delivery charges where appropriate, must be made in full before dispatch of the Goods. Overseas clients must pay all bank charges in full before goods will be dispatched.

 

After the order is received, we will confirm by email the details, description and price for the goods.

Representation of Goods Offered for Sale

All dimensions and weights are approximate. All crystals are unique and individual regardless of their name so when you receive your crystal it may be of a slight different colour, slight different shape and slight different size to what you read on the product description and information.

Please note that the photographs displayed on this website are intended to provide you with an accurate representation as possible of each piece.
 

Owing to the large numbers of differing makes and models of computers, screens and printers available for viewing these images, and the vast range of settings available to each user, we cannot guarantee that every piece offered for sale will exactly match the colour and tone as viewed on the computer equipment that you are using.

 

Selection of Individual Pieces

Please note that if you are buying something from our Unique Pieces section or something advertised by us as a unique or "one-off" piece, you will receive the actual piece advertised. In all other instances, you cannot pick a particular piece from a particular photograph.
 

DELIVERY

Shipping and Handling

​

All orders for goods that are in stock, placed on Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way ® shop will be dispatched on a Friday after the order is completed, via Royal Mail delivery. Last Christmas posting date is the 18th December 2023.

We don’t ship on Weekends or UK public holidays.

​

Our dispatch time might be slightly longer during peak times such as around Christmas and in light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, and with the likely disruptions to postal systems as a result, we make no guarantee that your order will arrive in the specified time. We would ask our customers to inform themselves of any postal delays that may exist in their local area before making a purchase and exercise a reasonable amount of patience in this challenging time.  Please note that we are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay.
 

Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Buyers address specified in the order, the customer is responsible to provide the correct delivery address. The Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way ® shop will not be responsible for items that are undeliverable, the Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. The delivery will be attempted twice, failure to receive the goods on both attempts will result in the goods being returned to the Seller. Re-delivery will be at the Buyers expense.

Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods.

 

Non Receipt by You

Please inform us as soon as possible if you do not receive your goods within a reasonable time frame.  

Please note we do not offer drop shipping Drop shipping is a system where you make a sale, say from your website, and then you give us the details of your customer and we send the goods directly to them.

 

Delivery Outside of the UK

 

We currently do not ship to the EU. We ship to the US.

International Orders

​

We are currently only offering international orders to America. Orders will be shipped using tracking via Royal Mail. We process international orders Monday and Thursday. Additional shipping time will vary depending on your location, and may take several days to several weeks.

Import Duties and Other Taxes
 

The Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way ® shop is not responsible for any taxes, fees, delays or non-delivery of goods due to import bans and restrictions.

 

When we deliver items to addresses outside of the UK please be aware that the government and/or tax authorities of the country that you live in may impose certain import duties, taxes and levies on the goods that you have ordered from us.
 

The customer is responsible for all local import fees in all instances the customer is responsible to pay these charges and no claim for refund, restitution or compensation on Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way will be entertained.
 

For further guidance we recommend that you consult with your countries tax authorities.

 

Shipping Costs

The shipping costs are calculated according to the weight of the shipment and the destination. You will be able to consult the shipping costs during the ordering process. Items can be delivered by Royal Mail standard delivery and Royal Mail Signed for delivery.

 

Downloadable Items

​

If you purchase content in electronic form which is downloadable (“downloadable item”), the link will be sent automatically to the provided email address. If you have not received the link shortly after you have received confirmation of purchase, please check the spam folder.

 

The purchase of a downloadable item is for one customer only. Please do not share the link provided with third parties.

 

It is the customer’s responsibility to enter the correct email address.

Please make sure that you download your purchase within a 2 (two) hour time frame.

 

Backorder goods that are out of stock

If we are Out of Stock

Should we be out of stock on any particular item, we will do our best to contact you straight away and let you know so that you may amend or cancel your order. If an item is out of stock, you can add your email to the “email me when out of stock” prompt and we will inform you as soon as the item is back in stock to order.

 

Disclaimer

Crystal healing and other types of energy work are not to be considered as a substitute for traditional medical treatment.

Although The Connection Way ® Teachings, exercises and practices have been proven to be beneficial for many medical conditions, it should never be seen or used as a substitute for medical treatment, needed medication or for psychological or psychiatric counselling or therapy.

 

If you feel discomfort while practicing, using or listening to The Connection Way ® Teachings , exercises or practices, stop immediately. If you are a heart patient or suspect that you may have a heart ailment, consult a doctor before practicing.

 

For our part, we will consider that any purchases you make of crystals, minerals, stones and/or jewellery from us, are made on the basis of your own freedom of choice.

Contract

Please be aware that in purchasing goods or services over the internet you are entering into a legally binding contract.

 

Title Claim

All goods supplied remain the property of Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way until such time as they are paid for in full. The risk in the goods shall pass to the buyer on delivery but the ownership of the goods shall remain with Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way until full payment has been received from the buyer.

In the event of non-payment Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way shall be entitled to re-possess the goods, or in the event of the buyer declaring bankruptcy, Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way shall be entitled to the proceeds of any re-sale of the goods in the hands of the liquidator, receiver or trustee.

All photographs and images on this website have been taken by Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way. As such, we assert our copyright over all images displayed on this website and they shall be considered as the Intellectual Property of Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way.
 

No photograph or image shall be copied, either manually or electronically, without the express written permission of Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way and if permission is given we shall require an acknowledgement of their use against each photograph or image so used.
 

Breach of our copyright may involve us in contacting you and requesting you to remove or take down any of our photographs and/or images that have been used illegally.

Statutory Rights

None of the above Terms and Conditions will affect the consumers statutory rights.

Variation of Terms & Conditions and Special Offers

 

We reserve the right to vary, amend and/or alter any and all of these Terms & Conditions as and when we deem fit.

 

We also reserve the right to vary, amend and/or alter, and the right to withdraw completely, any special offers or discounts or incentives that we may have advertised on this site or in our promotional material.

 

Acceptance

By placing an order with us, it is deemed to be acceptance that you have read, understood and accept each and every of these terms and conditions.

Cancellations & Returns

​

You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, you then have a further 14 days to return it. This is sometimes referred to as a ‘cooling-off period’.

 

You need to notify Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way ® if you wish to cancel your order within this time period – by email to info@shelleyosman.com.

Returns

​

Before you return the goods, please contact the Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way ® shop at info@shelleyosman.com, indicating the order number, your contact details and reason for return. After contacting us and receiving confirmation from us, please return the goods by registered mail to the return address found on the invoice. The returned goods must not be used, should be in the original packaging, and accompanied by the purchase receipt/invoice or a copy of the purchase receipt/invoice. If you find that you have to return any goods to us, we recommend that you use a trackable postage system.

Shipping costs, credit card and other third party charges are non-refundable.

Conditions of return

 

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the safe return of the Goods to the Seller and goods must be returned by the customer at the customer’s expense and should be adequately insured during the return journey.

 

On return of the Goods, they shall be inspected by the Seller within 10 working days. If the goods are in resalable condition, the Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund.

 

Where goods are returned which are faulty/damaged these goods will not be liable for a refund as the goods must be returned in a fully resalable condition. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

 

Return Exceptions

The following goods do not qualify for return and shall not be refunded in case you cancel the order

●          Downloadable products,

●          Any returned items that are found to be defective with signs of usage,

●          CDs unless they are faulty, in which case it will be your responsibility to provide us with clear photographic evidence within 24 hours upon delivery arrival,

●          Calendars,

●          Candles

Damaged goods

​

We strive to ensure all your purchases reach you in perfect condition. If you receive a delivery and the item is damaged please refuse the delivery.

 

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item, you may return this item to us in accordance with your statutory rights.  We will refund the full purchase price including postage and packaging of an item which is delivered in a damaged or faulty condition or which develops a fault within 30 days from delivery (other than due to normal wear and tear, failure to follow instructions or misuse). Alternatively, at your option, we will replace the item with the same or similar product (subject to stock availability).

 

The buyer shall inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and if a product is damaged or faulty, shall contact us at once via email to info@shelleyosman.com or no later than 7 working days of receipt, or of the fault developing, making sure to send a photograph clearly showing the damage or defect. 

 

Please allow 30 days from receipt by us of your item to be inspected and for your refund to be processed or replacement item dispatched.

 

We reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund/replacement and to recover the cost of the returns delivery from you in the event that the item is found to have suffered damage after delivery or has been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions or if the problem is due to wear and tear. This does not affect your statutory rights. However, at our discretion, returns may be accepted, a reasonable fee being charged to the customer for the impairment.

 

Please note due to the nature of our gemstones and minerals which have natural flaws and inclusions, these are not classed as faulty and damaged goods.

 

Refunds

If purchasing items through the Site, refund policies, if any, shall be posted on the purchase page(s). If no provision for refunds is explicitly stated, then there shall be no refunds for the product or service after purchase. You may request a refund by contacting us at info@shelleyosman.com

Children’s Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and young adults. The Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way ® website is not intended for users under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from users under the age of (16). Such users are expressly prohibited from submitting their personally identifiable information to us, and from using portions of the Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way ® website for which registration is required, such as any Connection Way Memberships, any community forums; any information submitted by such users will not knowingly be used, posted, or retained by us.

Only adults aged eighteen (18) years or over can enter into a contract. If you are below the age of 18 years of age, please obtain the permission of your parent or guardian before using our Site. You may browse the site but may not enter into a contract.

The Shelley Osman ~ The Connection Way ® website and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion.
